The Travel Gap

Foreword I’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback pertaining to last week’s post as well as many questions as to when my next article will be posted. I’ve decided that with my time and schedule, a weekly report, posted every Saturday, makes the most sense.

Introduction My first week in Thailand is now coming to an end. I had a busy week of sightseeing, eating, and so much walking. From Buddhist temples to abandoned hotels, this was a week full of learning and adventure. I hope you enjoy reading about my week in Bangkok and are able to get a sense of what it’s like to be here.

Introduction When I started working on my packing list, I had no idea where to even begin. After all, what does one even need for a four month trip to Thailand? After about a month of researching, thinking, and obsessively weighing my pack, the following list is what I decided to bring. For context,I’m going to be flying into Bangkok, Thailand where I will be hostel living for about a week.
