Thailand: Week 11 - Teaser

Posted by Isaac on Wednesday, November 16, 2022

This week got off to a rough start. On Monday, I woke up feeling fairly ill. It was so bad that I skipped my habitual morning run and hit snooze on my alarm. I rested all morning and planned to stick it out in the afternoon in order to teach a class at a new school. However, upon seeing my condition, the school director told me to stay at TBA rest. Therefore, I spent the rest of my day in bed, trying my best to break the fever. Ultimately, I ended up feeling all better the following day (well, minus some congestion, but I intermittently cleared that up by eating chili peppers).

Barring my little case of sickness, the only other notable thing that has happened this week is that I taught my first class at another school. This school was different from the others I’ve been too in that it’s much smaller and has fewer resources. I didn’t factor this into my lesson plan, but nevertheless, I adapted and made do. Ultimately the kids had a great time, so it was a job well done.

Sorry there’s not more to say, but this week has been rather slow. However, I have some exciting plans for the second half of the week, so stay tuned for this week’s report.
